What we assess
It requires financial means of 400% of the IPREM for the holder and 100% for each family member, and private health insurance with full cover in Spain (consulates usually require it without co-payments or waiting periods). It does not allow any work or professional activity, not even remote work for foreign companies. The initial application is filed at the consulate. It can be changed to a work permit; after the first year, also to self-employment.

Frequently asked questions
What does it cost and include?
The consultation and the full application are separate services. After reviewing the case, a quote specifies included work; fees, translations and other expenses are listed separately.
When should I start?
Before buying tickets or your authorisation expires. If you received a notice, provide its receipt date too: it may determine the response deadline.
