What we assess
Higher education students can work up to 30 hours a week without another permit. Studies must be in person or, at university, hybrid; in other courses, at least 50% in person: a fully online course does not qualify. You must prove means of 100% of the IPREM and health insurance. From Spain it can be requested for certain studies, such as higher education, at least two months before your legal stay ends; in other cases it is requested at the consulate.

Frequently asked questions
What does it cost and include?
The consultation and the full application are separate services. After reviewing the case, a quote specifies included work; fees, translations and other expenses are listed separately.
When should I start?
Before buying tickets or your authorisation expires. If you received a notice, provide its receipt date too: it may determine the response deadline.
