What we assess
Against a decision of the Immigration Office (Oficina de Extranjería) you can file an optional appeal for reconsideration (reposición) within one month or a judicial review appeal within two months of notification. Against a visa refusal, reconsideration within one month or judicial review before the High Court of Justice of Madrid within two months. Appealing does not automatically suspend the decision: if appropriate, suspension must be requested. Asylum has its own, much shorter, deadlines.
