What we assess
It requires two years of continuous stay, with absences of no more than 90 days in total, and one of two routes: family ties with Spanish citizens or legal residents (spouse or registered partner, parents or children), with means of 100% of the IPREM for the family member and another 100% for you; or a social integration report from the autonomous community, which must be issued within one month. No employment contract is required, and asylum seekers whose application is still pending cannot apply. It is granted for one year with permission to work and can be extended for further one-year periods.
